Kanzō Zengo

kan: mountain zen: undivided

zō: womb/treasury go: self

From the womb of the mountain emerges the self that is undivided.

Kanzō Zengo is the musical artist name of Ray Lewey. Inspired by his time living in the highlands of Guatemala, he blends Buddhist and Daoist teachings, mantras, and medicine music from ceremonial space.

His work explores the territory between psyche and spirit, body and mind, and is a living prayer to bring the exile home through reconnection with our original parents, the natural world.
